❍ Hayao Miyazaki | The Art Of Porco Rosso ❂
❏ A color artbook for the anime "Porco Rosso" (Japanese: Kurenai no buta, "crimson pig", the international name from Italian: Porco Rosso - "red (scarlet) pig") is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Hayao Miyazaki during his work on this, in his own words, "cartoon for adults". Under the cover of the book, you will find a lot of interesting information about the creation of "Porco Rosso" - frames, comments, illustrations and entire paintings! The artbook includes: the story that became the beginning of the film - "The age of the flying boat" ("The era of flying ships"); a fragment of the manga corresponding to the beginning of the film; sketches of all the main characters of the film, both in watercolor and finished versions; "Ships in the Sky" is a section dedicated to the other "main character" of the film - the planes, containing their drawings, watercolors, finished versions of drawings and real prototypes. The final part of the book is "Film Screenplay". The book ends with shots from the soundtrack recording, a group photo of the film crew and... credits.
